Bamboo lashing – how to

We explored this lashing technique that I used earlier for a bamboo ladder and compared it with the different lashings that scouts do.  I’ve found that this method uses less rope/twine/string but the result is still sturdy enough for garden use.  Old shoelaces were the perfect length.
